If you want an ice shelter that just makes your day on the ice easier, the FatFish™ 450i really hits the sweet spot. This generation of FatFish™ shelters features a full panel, No-Trip door that zips all the way down to the ice. No more doing that awkward high‑step shuffle while trying run for a tip-up or load-in gear. Just like the original FatFish™, the wide‑bottom design opens up fishable space—75 square feet in fact. This gives you plenty of room to spread out, run a couple of lines, or fish comfortably with a buddy (or two).
And the warmth? That’s where the Eskimo IQ™ insulated fabric really shines. Light enough to maneuver and set-up easily, yet insulated and quilted to trap heat, cut wind, and reduce condensation—so you stay warm and dry. Even though this shelter is loaded with great features, the shelter packs down into an easy‑to‑carry bag, making it surprisingly lightweight and portable. The Packdown™ hub design condenses the overall length of the shelter to just 58” in the bag, so it fits into short bed trucks and smaller SUVs with ease.
