Parts Breakdown
Begin by locating and identifying the included parts and hardware shown here, along with placement needed for assembly.
Step 1
Place the Plate Mount against the sled, centered at the top of the molded area for sled runners. Using the Plate Mount as a template, mark the sled at each hole in the Plate Mount.
Step 2
Using the 3 marked holes as reference, drill (2) 7/16" holes on the sides, and (1) 5/16" hole at the center mark.
Step 3
Place the Plate Mount inside the sled, aligning it with the drilled holes. Attach it to the sled on the outside holes using:
- (2) U-Brackets
- (2) 3/8" flat washers
- (2) 3/8-16 nyloc nuts
Step 4
Complete attachment to the sled at the center hole, using:
- 1/4-20 x 1-1/4" bolt
- 1/4" flat washer
- 1/4-20 nyloc nut
Step 5
Assemble (2) Pulk Rods by screwing together the threaded male and female ends.
Step 6
Attach your assembled Pulk Rods to the sled at the U-Brackets, using (2) 1/4" Snap Pins.
Step 7
Form an "X" with your attached complete Pulk Rods, then loop and fasten them into place with the included hook-and-loop strap around the center of the "X".
Step 8
Place the Pulk Rod ring over your preferred molle webbing loop to connect it to your waist belt harness. Pass the carabiners that are attached to the harness through your chosen webbing loop to hold the ring in place.
